City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Musei Reali and Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative will appeal to museum buffs. Popular historic sites such as Castello di Verres and Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Contratto (in Canelli), Aosta (Piazza Emile Chanoux, Aosta Old Town, &more) and Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni (in Barolo). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Il Bucintoro dei Savoia, pause for some serene contemplation at Gran Madre di Dio, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis, and contemplate the long history of Piazza Carignano.
