City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Museo Egizio and Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama). Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone. Venture out of the city with trips to Serravalle Designer Outlet (in Serravalle Scrivia), Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino) and Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, take an in-depth tour of Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706, and make a trip to Piazza Castello.

To find where to stay, more things to do, maps, and tourist information, you can read our Turin itinerary maker site.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 64°F, while at night they dip to 51°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 29th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
