City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore and learn at Juventus Museum and Museo Pietro Micca. Explore hidden gems such as Ricetto di Candelo and Aosta Old Town. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour), Castel Savoia (in Gressoney Saint Jean) and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte). There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at MAO - Museo d'Arte Orientale, explore the historical opulence of Castello di Issogne, delve into the distant past at Criptoportico Forense, and see the interesting displays at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama).

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In January, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 6°C, while at night they dip to 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
