City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore and learn at Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli and Armeria Reale. Explore hidden gems such as Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso and Yes Snowboard & Ski School. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour), Castel Savoia (in Gressoney Saint Jean) and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte). There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello Reale di Sarre, get engrossed in the history at Museo Pietro Micca, admire the masterpieces at MAO - Museo d'Arte Orientale, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 6°C in January, and nighttime lows around 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
