City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco), Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino) and Langhe landscapes UNESCO (in Alba). Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, get great views at Basilica of Superga, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daytime highs in Turin are 17°C, while nighttime lows are 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
