In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Kick off your visit on the 20th (Tue): take in the pleasant sights at I Navigli, stroll the grounds of Monumental Cemetery, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedral of Como (Duomo). Here are some ideas for day two: relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, then admire the masterpieces at Pinacoteca di Brera, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano.

Turin to Milan is an approximately 1- hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Turin in September, plan for somewhat warmer days in Milan, with highs around 76°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 57°F. A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.

You've now added Bar il Giardino to your itinerary.
