City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama). Basilica of Superga and Palazzo Reale will appeal to history buffs. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale), Azienda Agricola But di Meistro Flavio (in Costigliole d'Asti) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

Before you visit Turin, use our trip planner to discover what you can do and see there.
