City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Explore hidden gems such as Castello di Issogne and Castello e Parco di Masino. Get some historical perspective at Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis and Sacro Monte. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Castello di Verres (in Verres), Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle). There's still lots to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello della Manta, wander the streets of Via Roma, delve into the distant past at Criptoportico Forense, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daytime highs in Turin are 73°F, while nighttime lows are 60°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
