City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step off the beaten path and head to Lago d'Arpy and Saussurea Alpine Botanical Garden. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Val Ferret (in Courmayeur), River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle) and Aosta (Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, Porta Pretoria, &more). The adventure continues: take in the awesome beauty at Colline di Torino, take an in-depth tour of Armeria Reale, explore the historical opulence of Castello Reale di Sarre, and walk around Parc Animalier d'Introd.

If you are flying in from Belgium, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In August in Turin, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 20°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
