City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step off the beaten path and head to Lago d'Arpy and Colline di Torino. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Courmayeur (Saussurea Alpine Botanical Garden & Val Ferret), Aosta (Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, Porta Pretoria, &more) and River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle). There's still lots to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Cascate del Rutor, get engrossed in the history at Armeria Reale, explore the historical opulence of Castello Reale di Sarre, and walk around Parc Animalier d'Introd.

Use Inspirock's suggestions to plan your Turin trip and find the best activities and attractions for your vacation.

If you are flying in from Belgium, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. August in Turin sees daily highs of 28°C and lows of 20°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
