A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visiting Lake Orta and Spiaggia Miami will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Serravalle Designer Outlet (in Serravalle Scrivia), Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Cantina del Glicine (in Neive). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale, admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio, and don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo.

To find other places to visit, reviews, more things to do, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin trip builder app.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In November, plan for daily highs up to 50°F, and evening lows to 43°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Sat) to allow time to travel back home.
