City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Castello di Issogne and Castello e Parco di Masino. For shopping fun, head to Via Roma or Galleria Sabauda. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre), River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). The adventure continues: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, explore the world behind art at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative, take an in-depth tour of Musei Reali, and delve into the distant past at Criptoportico Forense.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Tue) to allow time for travel back home.
