A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Castello Reale di Sarre and Castello di Issogne. Your inner history buff will appreciate Criptoportico Forense and Verres Castle. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino), Aosta Old Town (in Aosta) and Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre). There's still lots to do: let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, wander the streets of Via Roma, get engrossed in the history at Egyptian Museum of Turin, and see the interesting displays at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove.

For traveler tips, other places to visit, more things to do, and other tourist information, go to the Turin trip itinerary maker app .

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major airports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 73°F in June, and nighttime lows around 60°F. You'll have a few hours on the 24th (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling home.
