City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Castello di Issogne and Castello e Parco di Masino. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Castello di Verres and Via Roma. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Aosta (Criptoportico Forense & Aosta Old Town), Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's much more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, get outside with Outdoor Activities, and get engrossed in the history at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove.

For other places to visit, reviews, photos, and other tourist information, go to the Turin trip itinerary planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. June in Turin sees daily highs of 73°F and lows of 60°F at night. You'll have a few hours on the 24th (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling home.
