City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Castello di Issogne and Castello e Parco di Masino. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Castello di Verres and Via Roma. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre), Aosta (Criptoportico Forense & Aosta Old Town) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's much more to do: let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and take an in-depth tour of Museo del Carcere Le Nuove.

To see other places to visit, reviews, traveler tips, and other tourist information, you can read our Turin route planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. June in Turin sees daily highs of 73°F and lows of 60°F at night. On the 24th (Mon), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
