City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Ricetto di Candelo. Get outdoors at Pila and Via Lattea. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Santuario di Oropa (in Oropa), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte). Next up on the itinerary: take an in-depth tour of Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706, see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, wander the streets of Quadrilatero Romano, and get a taste of the local shopping with Via Roma.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in April, and nighttime lows around 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
