City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get in touch with nature at Lake Orta and Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio. Museo Egizio and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Cervino Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area (in Breuil-Cervinia), Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Cantina Fontechiara (in Borgomanero). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, get outside with Team Adventure, take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga, and admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale.

To find maps, traveler tips, more things to do, and tourist information, go to the Turin trip itinerary builder website.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April in Turin, expect temperatures between 17°C during the day and 9°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
