City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello di Issogne and Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice. Get some historical perspective at Castello della Manta and Castello di Serralunga d'Alba. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Castello di Fossano (in Fossano), River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Il Bucintoro dei Savoia, take an in-depth tour of Museo Civico Casa Cavassa, pause for some serene contemplation at Abbazia di Santa Maria di Staffarda, and explore the world behind art at Musei Reali.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
