City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello di Issogne and Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice. Get some historical perspective at Castello della Manta and Castello di Serralunga d'Alba. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Castello di Fossano (in Fossano), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle). There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Musei Reali, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, see the interesting displays at Museo Civico Casa Cavassa, and admire the masterpieces at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative.

For ratings, photos, more things to do, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin sightseeing planner.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
