City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Explore hidden gems such as Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice and Colline di Torino. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso (in Aosta), Milan (Piazza del Duomo & Duomo di Milano) and Colle del Nivolet (in Ceresole Reale). There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Fenis, indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area, and admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio.

To find maps, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Turin online travel route planner.

If you are flying in from Mexico, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 26°C, while at night they dip to 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Fri) to allow time to travel back home.
