City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino), Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, and take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga.

For maps, traveler tips, where to stay, and other tourist information, you can read our Turin travel itinerary planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April in Turin, expect temperatures between 59°F during the day and 47°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
