Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Go for a jaunt from Venice to Padua to see Scrovegni Chapel about 42 minutes away. The adventure continues: contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, admire the masterpieces at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, steep yourself in history at San Giorgio Maggiore, and take in the views from Ponte dei Sospiri.

Jerusalem, Israel to Venice is an approximately 8-hour combination of bus, train, and flight. You can also do a combination of bus, train, flight, and shuttle; or do a combination of bus, train, and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Jerusalem to Venice. Traveling from Jerusalem in November, expect nights in Venice to be about the same, around 7°C, while days are slightly colder, around 16°C. On the 23rd (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
