City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Azienda Vitivinicola Fontechiara (in Borgomanero), Cantine Costa Giuseppe (in Monta) and Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, make a trip to Piazza Castello, take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.

For photos, traveler tips, reviews, and tourist information, go to the Turin online holiday planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 59°F in April, and nighttime lows around 47°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
