City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Popular historic sites such as Castello Sarriod de La Tour and Criptoportico Forense are in your itinerary. Visiting Cascate del Rutor and Lago d'Arpy will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Aosta (Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso & Museo Archeologico Regionale), Museo Forte Bramafam (in Bardonecchia) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative, head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, explore the historical opulence of Castello di Issogne, and get engrossed in the history at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove.

For photos, traveler tips, ratings, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip itinerary maker website.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In August, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
