City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get outdoors at Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso and Cervino Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: River Rafting & Tubing (in Morgex), Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale, and take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga.

To see traveler tips, other places to visit, where to stay, and other tourist information, read our Turin online sightseeing planner.

Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
