City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museo Egizio and Accademia delle Scienze di Torino will appeal to museum buffs. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso and Parco Naturale del Gran Bosco di Salbertrand. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio), Forte di Bard (in Bard) and Zoom Torino (in Cumiana). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, contemplate the long history of Sacra di San Michele, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in October, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
