City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Centro storico and Museo del Carcere Le Nuove. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Piazza Galimberti (in Cuneo), Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte) and Aosta (Criptoportico Forense, Aosta Old Town, &more). Next up on the itinerary: explore the historical opulence of Castello e Parco di Masino, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, make a trip to Via Po, and cruise along Colline di Torino.

To see where to stay, other places to visit, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, plan for daily highs up to 50°F, and evening lows to 40°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Tue) so you can travel back home.
