City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Museo Egizio and Museum of the Risorgimento. Popular historic sites such as Basilica of Superga and Sacra di San Michele are in your itinerary. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Serravalle Designer Outlet (in Serravalle Scrivia), Forte di Bard (in Bard) and Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, contemplate the long history of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, walk around Parco del Valentino, and learn about winemaking at Cantina del Glicine.
