City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Visit Reggia di Venaria Reale and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone for their historical value. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato), Forte di Bard (in Bard) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). There's lots more to do: admire the masterpieces at Galleria Sabauda, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, see the interesting displays at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama), and get great views at Basilica of Superga.

To see ratings, other places to visit, photos, and more tourist information, read Turin trip itinerary maker site.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 11°C in March, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
