City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Appreciate the collections at Musei Reali and Museo Egizio. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Castello e Parco di Masino and Aosta Old Town. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre), Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, step into the grandiose world of Castello della Manta, take a stroll through Via Roma, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
