City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Shop till you drop at Serravalle Designer Outlet and Mercato Centrale Torino. Venture out of the city with trips to Forte di Bard (in Bard), Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio) and Cervino Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area (in Breuil-Cervinia). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

To see more things to do, photos, traveler tips, and other tourist information, you can read our Turin journey builder website.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In January, daytime highs in Turin are 6°C, while nighttime lows are 1°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Mon) so you can travel back home.
