City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone and Basilica of Superga. Museo Egizio and Reggia di Venaria Reale will appeal to museum buffs. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Forte di Bard (in Bard), Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso (in Aosta) and Cervino Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area (in Breuil-Cervinia). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, explore the activities along Lake Orta, do a tasting at Cantina del Glicine, and take advantage of the amenities at Spiaggia Miami.

To see ratings, where to stay, traveler tips, and other tourist information, go to the Turin itinerary planning app.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 5°C in February, and nighttime lows around 0°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
