City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, Piazza San Carlo, Quadrilatero Romano, and other attractions. Get some historical perspective at Basilica of Superga and Reggia di Venaria Reale. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Palazzo Reale. Go for a jaunt from Turin to Albugnano to see Abbazia di Santa Maria di Vezzolano about 50 minutes away. There's much more to do: view the masterpieces at Galleria Sabauda, stroll around Parco del Valentino, take an in-depth tour of Armeria Reale, and steep yourself in history at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

To find maps, where to stay, and more tourist information, refer to the Turin tour itinerary maker site.

If you are flying in from Croatia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daytime highs in Turin are 11°C, while nighttime lows are 5°C. You'll have a few hours on the 14th (Tue) to wrap things up before traveling home.
