City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Armeria Reale and Juventus Museum. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Cantina Josetta Saffirio (in Monforte d'Alba), Castel Savoia (in Gressoney Saint Jean) and Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni (in Barolo). The adventure continues: take an in-depth tour of Museo Pietro Micca, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santuario di Oropa, see the interesting displays at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama), and explore the historical opulence of Castello di Verres.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In November, plan for daily highs up to 50°F, and evening lows to 43°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
