City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some cultural insight at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Popular historic sites such as Reggia di Venaria Reale and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone are in your itinerary. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Fenis (in Fenis), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Serravalle Designer Outlet (in Serravalle Scrivia). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, steep yourself in history at Sacra di San Michele, take in the exciting artwork at Galleria Sabauda, and explore the historical opulence of Castello di Issogne.

For other places to visit, reviews, more things to do, and more tourist information, read Turin road trip planning app.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, daytime highs in Turin are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 21°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
