City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museo Egizio and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale), Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato) and Azienda Agricola But di Meistro Flavio (in Costigliole d'Asti). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello, take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga, and tee off at Golf Colline del Gavi.

For maps, where to stay, and tourist information, use the Turin trip planning app.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Mon) to allow time to travel back home.
