City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step off the beaten path and head to Centro storico and Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini. Venture out of the city with trips to Chiesa di San Marco Evangelista (in Rocca de Baldi), Giardini del Belvedere (in Mondovi) and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.

To find traveler tips, other places to visit, maps, and more tourist information, go to the Turin holiday maker tool.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, plan for daily highs up to 11°C, and evening lows to 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
