Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Rome is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Atlantic Standard Time (AST) to Central European Time (CET), which is usually a 5 hour difference. In December, daily temperatures in Rome can reach 16°C, while at night they dip to 4°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Naples.
