City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Museo Egizio and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone. Get some historical perspective at Basilica of Superga and Reggia di Venaria Reale. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio), Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, and take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino.

To find reviews, ratings, where to stay, and more tourist information, read our Turin trip planning website.

April in Turin sees daily highs of 17°C and lows of 9°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
