City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Family-friendly places like Museo Egizio and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso will thrill your kids. Step off the beaten path and head to Criptoportico Forense and Castello di Issogne. When in Turin, make a side trip to see Aosta Old Town in Aosta, approximately Aosta away. Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and get great views at Basilica of Superga.

To find where to stay, photos, more things to do, and more tourist information, go to the Turin route builder tool.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in October, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Fri) so you can travel back home.
