City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Attractions like Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Piazza San Carlo make great kid-friendly stops. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio, admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale, don't miss a visit to Piazza Vittorio Veneto, and see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 17°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
