City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Bring the kids along to Museo Egizio and Juventus Stadium. Venture out of the city with trips to Zoom Torino (in Cumiana), Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino) and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso (in Aosta). And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, steep yourself in history at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, get great views at Basilica of Superga, and make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

Before you visit Turin, use our trip planner to discover what you can do and see there.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in October, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
