City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Castello e Parco di Masino and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis. Venture out of the city with trips to River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle), Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne). There's much more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, explore the historical opulence of Castello di Verres, get to know the fascinating history of Aosta Old Town, and make a trip to Centro storico.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
