City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini and Piazza Galimberti. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello di Issogne (in Issogne), Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre) and River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle). There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello e Parco di Masino, appreciate the extensive heritage of Aosta Old Town, identify plant and animal life at Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, and delve into the distant past at Criptoportico Forense.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
