City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. For shopping fun, head to Galleria Sabauda or Serravalle Designer Outlet. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Cantina Fontechiara (in Borgomanero). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga, and don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello.
