City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Galleria Sabauda. For shopping fun, head to Reggia di Venaria Reale or Serravalle Designer Outlet. When in Turin, make a side trip to see Azienda Vitivinicola Fontechiara in Borgomanero, approximately Borgomanero away. And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello, and get great views at Basilica of Superga.

To see other places to visit, maps, reviews, and other tourist information, use the Turin travel route planner.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 11°C in March, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
