City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Visit Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone and Castello di Fenis for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino), Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Basilica of Superga.

For reviews, other places to visit, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin trip itinerary builder website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, plan for daily highs up to 59°F, and evening lows to 47°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
