Turin

— 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Santuario di Oropa and Castello di Issogne. Do some cultural sightseeing at Sacro Monte di Orta and Armeria Reale. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Castello di Verres (in Verres), Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni (in Barolo) and Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour). There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Via Roma, stop by Quadrilatero Romano, and do a tasting at Azienda Agricola Fratelli Aimasso.

To find ratings, photos, where to stay, and more tourist information, use the Turin trip maker app.

If you are flying in from Croatia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daytime highs in Turin are 26°C, while nighttime lows are 18°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
