City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visiting River Rafting & Tubing and Lake Orta will get you outdoors. Castello di Fenis and Reggia di Venaria Reale will appeal to history buffs. Step out of Turin to go to Cumiana and see Zoom Torino, which is approximately 46 minutes away. There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale, take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, and make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In August, daytime highs in Turin are 28°C, while nighttime lows are 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
