City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Castello di Issogne and Castello della Manta. You'll explore and learn at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Castello di Verres (in Verres), Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino) and Abbazia di Santa Maria di Staffarda (in Staffarda). There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, step into the grandiose world of Castello Sarriod de La Tour, and relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour.

To find ratings, photos, and more tourist information, go to the Turin trip itinerary builder app.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 26°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
