City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do your shopping at Via Roma and Reggia di Venaria Reale. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Castello di Issogne and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Criptoportico Forense (in Aosta), River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Serralunga d'Alba, admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santa Maria del Monastero.

To see where to stay, ratings, maps, and tourist information, use the Turin trip itinerary maker app.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
