City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone and Castello e Parco di Masino will appeal to history buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello di Issogne and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis. Venture out of the city with trips to Centro storico (in Cuneo), Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre) and Castello della Manta (in Manta). And it doesn't end there: don't miss a visit to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso, and steep yourself in history at Basilica of Superga.

To see where to stay, ratings, more things to do, and other tourist information, go to the Turin travel website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daytime highs in Turin are 59°F, while nighttime lows are 47°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Mon) so you can travel back home.
