City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museo Egizio and Basilica of Superga are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visiting Cervino Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area and Spiaggia Miami will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

To see maps, traveler tips, where to stay, and other tourist information, you can read our Turin trip itinerary builder website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 50°F in March, and nighttime lows around 40°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
