City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museo Egizio and Ferraris Agricola are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visiting Cervino Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area and Spiaggia Miami will get you outdoors. When in Turin, make a side trip to see Reggia di Venaria Reale in Venaria Reale, approximately Venaria Reale away. There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, contemplate the long history of Basilica of Superga, and don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. March in Turin sees daily highs of 50°F and lows of 40°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
