City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Take a break from the city and head to Pila and Via Lattea. Discover out-of-the-way places like Ricetto di Candelo and Via Roma. Take a break from Turin with a short trip to Salumificio Maison Bertolin in Arnad, about 1h 15 min away. Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at Museo Pietro Micca, take a stroll through Quadrilatero Romano, get great views at Basilica of Superga, and see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daytime highs in Turin are 11°C, while nighttime lows are 5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
