Turin

— 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Take a break from the city and head to Pila and Via Lattea. Discover out-of-the-way places like Ricetto di Candelo and Salumificio Maison Bertolin. There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Via Roma, get great views at Basilica of Superga, stop by Quadrilatero Romano, and get engrossed in the history at Museo Pietro Micca.

To see where to stay, ratings, photos, and more tourist information, use the Turin visit planner.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 11°C, while at night they dip to 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Mon) to allow time to travel back home.
